Swedish Institute scholarship offers for the academic year 2014/2015

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

The Swedish Institute Baltic Sea Region Cooperation now has the pleasure to announce scholarships for the academic year 2014/2015 within the SI Visby Programme. The scholarship call is targeted at talented, creative students and post-doctoral researchers from Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia and Ukraine for post-graduate studies or research at universities in Sweden.

 

Read more at the Swedish Institute website at www.studyinsweden.se for detailed information on eligibility, requirements and complete instructions to the application procedure. The application deadline takes place on 15 January 2014 for PhD candidates, post-doctoral researchers and senior scientists, while students on the master’s degree level apply in two separate processes; first to the Swedish central admissions system between 1 December 2013 and 16 January 2014, and then for a SI scholarship in 1-11 February 2014.

Invite Swedish students, PhD candidates, researchers, experts

Swedish students, PhD candidates and researchers employed at universities in Sweden can apply for scholarships from SI, for study or research visits in any of the countries included in the Baltic Sea Region Cooperation. Also representatives of other organizations in Sweden can apply for scholarships, when invited by actors in the host country, for expert visits with the purpose of capacity-building (related to for example higher education, innovation/incubation practices, science park development) or establishing of new collaborations. Step 3: We give you information about how to transfer the reduced course fee.

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE ON MONDAY 9 DEC
 
EURASHE will organise a Community of Practice Workshop on Learning Outcomes within Professional Higher Education (PHE) Context  on 13 December 2013 inPrague (Czech Republic) jointly with the Czech Association of Schools of Professional Higher Education (CASPHE) and the College of Nursing (VSZ).
 
 
 
Policy statement and conferences provide a good basis for further discussion; yet they offer very little opportunity to share concrete experience and practices. To bridge that gap, EURASHE proposes to bring together a group of practitioners in order to allow them to discuss challenges,barriers as well as good practices, to learn from each other, build new contacts - but also to get from the discussion more inspiration and input for further policy endeavours of EURASHE at European level. 
 
This EURASHE Community of Practice Workshop on Learning Outcomes within Professional Higher Education (PHE) Context will propose discussions and debates on the following topics: reflection of labour market needs, promotion of graduates' employability, learning outcomes translation into content, methods of learning and assessment in professional higher education.

In the 5 working groups, the discussions will centre around issues of labour market needs mapping, their reflection in learning outcomes and curricula, approaches to evaluation of relevance and achievements as regards learning outcomes and practical aspects of education, experience with different methods of delivery of the courses and assessment of students' performance.

The workshop will be preceded on Thursday 12 December by a welcome reception held at Malostranska Beseda, and will be followed by an optional social programme with the 'Mysterious Prague' tour in the early evening of Friday 13 December.
 
Workshops participants can benefit from a special rate at the IBIS Praha Mala Strana Hotel ***. It is located at Plzenska 14, 150 00 Prague 5, close to the workshop location. Participants are responsible for their own booking
The workshop will be hosted by College of Nursing (VSZ) at Duskova 7, 150 00 Prague 5. A map with the relative location of the venue and the proposed hotel is available.
Registrations for the workshop are now open. Members of EURASHE benefit from a reduced fee for the workshop at 90 EUR. The fee for regular participants is set at 120 EUR.

Информационный портал «Швейцария Деловая» объявляет о проведении I Конкурса письменных работ «Helvetia International» (далее – Конкурс), названного так в честь легендарного персонифицированного образа Швейцарской Конфедерации и той роли, которую играет Альпийская республика в современной международной жизни.

Кто может участвовать?

- последний срок предоставления работ – 23 ч 59 мин 15 апреля 2014 года (по швейцарскому времени);

- работы предоставляются в электронном формате Microsoft Word на адрес mL@business-swiss.ch. Тема письма: «I Конкурс работ «Helvetia International»»;

 

Критерии оценки присланных работ

- практическая направленность;

- структурированность, логичность и доступность изложения;

- оригинальность высказываемых тезисов;

- (по возможности) использование решений судов, арбитражей или органов власти, а также примеров из бизнес-среды;

 

Оценка работ

Жюри Конкурса состоит из членов Редакции портала «Швейцария Деловая» и научных работников и практиков из Германии, Казахстана, Литвы, России, Украины и Швейцарии.

 

Победители I Конкурса письменных работ «Helvetia International» награждаются почётными грамотами и возможностью опубликования своей работы на сайте «Швейцария Деловая». Редакция Портала оставляет за собой право предложить победителям Конкурса стажировку на лето 2014 года (или на период по соглашению сторон). По решению жюри работы, не ставшие победителями, могут быть, тем не менее, опубликованы на сайте «Швейцария Деловая».
